jumping on the bandwagon
2006 @ 11:32 pm
it’s been a hell of a year over here… like other bloggers, I give the first lines of the first post of each month:
January
Welcome to 2006 everyone!
February
I’ve gotten one sleeve nearly complete on my Kaitlyn sweater–just need to do a lace repeat and graft it to the cuff.
March
No text whatsoever… just this:

April
So, what does a Jaywalker sock look like on a pregnant woman’s cankles?
May
It’s been so long since my last post you might have wondered whether I have had the baby or not. [Now this is odd since I had MJ in April. Turns out I started this post on Easter Sunday and then had to run off to brunch. MJ was born the next day, before I got to finish the post! And then it took me three weeks to put it up and I didn’t bother predating.]
June
and it fits! [title: mommy made me a sweater]
July
That’s right, I finished my Jaywalkers… and this is how much Socks that Rock that remains [5 inches. This was my only post in July!]
August
That seems to be all I can muster on this blog! [title: once a month]
September
While I can’t find any photos, according to Wikipedia, Dragon is a Canadian TV show that played in 2004. [Dragon knits in almost every episode]
October
Off to the tropics… see you at the end of October!
November
Wow. Yesterday marked one year with this site. [alright, technically 2]
December
I finally did it! [opened a store on etsy]

Yup, that is a seriously crazy year you had! As with other “one year” posts, I remember each of your posts clearly, as if it was yesterday. The Hello Kitty in bed for ex!
Seriously busy year for you - I’m surprised every month didn’t start with “I’m too busy to blog right now!”
hahaha, i love that hello kitty image. when i was working on your blog it left me in hysterics. you did have a huge year and to think that you thought you may never blog or knit again once MJ was born
now you’re back with a vengeance!

You had a seriously big year. I’m amazed that you manage to do everything that you do–blogging, crafting, baby and the store! It’s a lot of stuff!
I had fun hanging out with you today! Days at BG are always so pleasant.
