I’m passing the love on to 5 more kick-ass blogs… limited to those I know read me (for obvious reasons)

1. Pam of Lick My Sticks. I’ve been reading Pam for a while and there is no one more rockin’ on my list of nominees than this lady. She heads up the Bad Ass Blogger ring, is a Champion crafter and publishes Ruptured Zine.

2. Mamie Knitsbits. Had twins and lived to blog about it. For the love of pete, she even has a new FO. It took me months to complete the foot of a sock when I had ONE baby! She’s a recent add to my Bloglines, but I always look forward to her crafty and mommily insights.

3. Danielle at aswim in knits. I work in nonprofit and use that as my excuse for not being more generous with my time. Danielle puts most knitters to shame for how much of her knitting is done for charity! She makes a perfect role model to the teenage girls she coaches (synchronized swim). All that and a smarty-pants too. Sheesh.

4. Virginia aka Craptina. I’ve watched V get herself out of many a knitterly situation. And wouldn’t you know, her problem solving abilities extend far beyond crafting. she’s nominated for being a great friend, a great cook and having a creative brain… plus, anyone who rides a bike daily in NYC is bad-ass in my book.

5. Cal of Hodge Podge Farm. Its a blog, its a clothing line, and take one look at Cal and you know its a lifestyle. She working towards an entirely handmade wardrobe and I predict she will be rockin’ it soon. She’s a great instructor of sewing, embroidery, crochet, spinning, patternmaking, etc. Catch her at Brooklyn General, Etsy labs or Home Ec.
