when the blog gets boring

And I mean for you, not me. When I look back through the archives and tie these periods to my real life, there is always a corresponding event. And you know what that event usual has to do with? Babies. I become terribly boring (or disappear completely) during the first trimester of pregnancy and right after the baby pops out. Understandable. But, how can I say this definitively when I’ve only done it once?
Cuz I’ve done some of it twice. I’m happy to say that I’ve just reached the second trimester of my second pregnancy! And I’m feeling much better, thank you. Just like the first time, I never got sick (unless you count that time I stuck my nose in a bottle of ammonia. That made me barf, but I don’t think it was related). I have, however, been extraordinarily tired. The traveling made this somewhat better and somewhat worse. But, since I’ve been back I’ve managed to stay awake past 9 and my husband has ceased to be so goddamn annoying (really, it’s me being more sensitive, hardly his fault for being himself).
I’m not planning to post any sonogram photos, but we will find out the sex of the baby. I’ll tell you right now that I think it’s our destiny to have all girls. For those of you doing the math, MJ and new baby (no nickname yet) will be 25 months apart. My due date is May 24th for a Gemini child.
I’m doing it right with my wardrobe this time and stocking up on flattering tummy skimming clothes with v-necks for nursing. It’s lucky for me that the styles in the store match my needs exactly! I never loved The Gap so much. Okay, maybe when I was 12.

Wow congrats!! How time flies huh…I remember when you were pregnant with MJ….and then Steph had a baby, then I had a baby and now you are having baby number two! How exciting! I totally feel so excited for every pregnant woman now that I have my own baby. I didn’t feel like that when I was pregnant probably because I still couldn’t believe there was an actual mini human in my belly!! Anyway, can’t wait for the baby updates!!
yay, mama of two….it sounds like things are sailing smoothly. welcome to the world of two. i think it is a good thing that you are doing them one at a time…let’s you breathe a bit. cannot wait to see MJ’s little sis or brother. smiles and stay well.
yay, so happy for you! and may 24 is a great due date! (my birthday is the 28th, and it’s a wonderful time of year for a birthday, i’ve always thought.)
Congrats! I am sort of a lurker on your blog and your totally not boring! I just had my second baby as well and they are 25 months apart too! My first is a girl and we just had a little boy! He is 5 weeks old now. Things are crazy in my house right now to say the least! At least you kept your blog going… I shut mine down during the first trimester of this pregnancy because I was so sick! I’ll have to start it up again when things calm down here!
Oh, and Miss Hayden’s due date was 22 May though she chose to arrive 5 days early, making her a Taurus. Fun!
