Ishbel Shawl
2009 @ 7:02 am
I finally got around to blocking my Ishbel (Ysolda Teague) shawl. I am in LOVE with this knit. It’s the perfect size, weight and drape for almost-fall weather. My favorite part though? Ysolda has the knitter cast off in purl for a nice smooth edge. This makes the contrast border looks extra special.
Pattern: Ishbel by Ysolda Teague (also appears in Whimsicl Little Knit, Ysolda’s self-published pattern book)
Yarn: Elsebeth Lavold Hempathy in natural and green (cast off edge only)
Needles: sz 4 Addi Turbo
Mods: I followed the small size for the stockinette and the larger size for the lace. I also cast off in a contrast color.
See my Ravelry project page or previous post of this project for more details.
