Rhinebeck Redux…

Just posting the stash enhancements for now… needless to say, it was a great time. The weather held out on Saturday and I had a really fun time with the ladies. A good friend had a few of us knitters to her post and beam house for the weekend and the days away did not disappoint. Not to mention getting to spend quality wool time with Scissorina herself!

I made purchases at Brooks Farm, of course, The Fold, which was carrying Socks that Rock, Sheldridge Farms, and Sliver Moon. I also picked up (almost) two adorable patterns for little girls and left with a new hobby. More on that un/fortunate turn of events later.

Sliver Moon-Patootie or something. This is 25% superwash. Weird, right? We’ll see what happens! By the way, we all walked away from this booth thinking we had been at SILVER Moon.

Brooks Farm-Acero. I was taken in by the cutest baby dress pattern, Iris by Alissa Barton, which I also purchased. This is a silk, wool, modal blend.

I also got three skeins of straight up worsted merino from Sheldridge Farms that I am not even going to post, the color of the photo is so bad. Here’s a link to my stash page if you are totally curious.

If you’re like me you just skimmed the yarn pron and have wound up here at the bottom of the post… I leave you with this peaceful morning scene–the quiet is always the best part of the little jaunts I am lucky enough to take without my screaming mimis. Although this mom and young one did make me miss home a tiny bit.
