Highwater Helpers
Otherwise known as legwarmers, these have become an essential part of my daughter’s outerwear. Even though it’s kinda like underwear.
Materials
Yarn: Cascade Fixation. Substitute any sock yarn with elastic.
Needle: Size 3 27″ circular for Magic Loop method OR size 3 dpns

6-9 months
Pattern
1. Cast on 40 stitches using long tail method and divide for magic loop or evenly on 4 dpns
2. knit in 3×1 rib (k3, p1) for 4 inches and cast off (not too tightly).
A cable cast on can be used for a more flexible opening, but I have found this unnecessary. The elastic in the yarn provides enough ease.
